Connecting a Google account is optional. When a member of a hiring team connects one, we access only the following, and nothing else:
userinfo.profile, userinfo.email) — to identify the user when they sign in, and to show who scheduled an interview or left feedback.calendar.events) — to create the interview event on that user's Google Calendar, invite the interviewers and the candidate, and update or cancel that event when the interview changes.How this data is used. Google user data is used only to provide the interview-scheduling feature described above. We create and manage only the calendar events this platform schedules. We do not read the rest of a user's calendar and we do not store their other events.
How this data is stored. OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they are written to our database, and are never returned to a browser. The connected account's name and email are stored against the user's profile.
How this data is shared. We do not sell Google user data, and we do not share it with third parties. It is not used for advertising, and it is not used to train any machine-learning model.
Revoking access. A user can disconnect their Google account at any time from Settings, which revokes our access and deletes the stored tokens. Access can also be revoked from the Google account permissions page.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
